The entire narrative of this game has largely been centered around fighting back a fascist empire committing ethnic genocide. If 'woke' is something that bothers you, you've been playing the entirely wrong game (and series; this is a common theme in Final Fantasy) to begin with.

I don't claim to know how it works, but it shouldn't be too difficult. If it's simple they could just add those pronouns as extra options that could fill in places where <gender> is mentioned in dialogue, then create a selection for it somewhere. That said I'm sure the more conservative parts of the community would be upset, as shown by the brilliant first comment in this thread and all the people that liked it (because apparently they don't have anything better to do with themselves than laugh at strangers on the internet). I wouldn't get your hopes up about it, but you never know.

Also, you're being insulted because you're not only wrong, but you're being incredibly condescending. In normal interactions, you're either allowed to be nice or you have to be right. If you're neither, prepare to be disregarded and demeaned. You're even going so far as to revise history to your needs and use that to weaponize against the demographic you continue to loathe. I'll take the relocation of those goal posts as admitting that these three games all share a similar concept. No one was denying the nuance of individual characters, but go off, I guess.

Mussolini was a fascist. Hitler was a fascist. Fascism is the antithesis of socialism in every way conceivable. If you'd stop projecting for five minutes, and taking Reddit hot takes as fact, you might actually realize this.
