Too bad so sad. Matt got a snickers and Jason didn't.Except Jason was strictly in the right, if Matthew was actually eating snickers in class.
It makes sense that everyone rolling their eyes at Jason are children. Especially seeming Matt was dancing around the classwroom showing off the snickers he was going to eat in the class (and taking a bite right in front of Jason's face) before the teacher arrived.![]()
"Many" is a vague word and since you really haven't brought up any specific complaint with proof, it gets harder and harder to believe. There have been many complaints over the many years I've played about GMs not disclosing information, and players not receiving information on what they'd done wrong for their bans. Sometimes, yes, they're looking for names, sometimes not. Of the things I have seen, it has been vague, with the GMs sometimes outright declining to disclose what was actually done. In the end, you can cry about conspiracies all you want, but you don't seem to disagree that these players should be made aware of what they'd done wrong. I just happen to believe it can be done, and should be done better.
For personal experience, I got brought once to the gaol for a report and they explained me what did I do to get the report (pulled mobs towards a leech in Pagos) and the resulting penalty (a warning). The only thing they didn't explain is who reported me.
So I'm really intrigued where did you get that from.
My references are as much non-evidence as your personal anecdote."Many" is a vague word and since you really haven't brought up any specific complaint with proof, it gets harder and harder to believe.

Otherwise, we do see threads complaining about a lack of transparency from GMs and rule-breaking, periodically. These usually include screenshots, etc. While I do think that some of those complaint threads are a little disingenuous, I also do think that there's some room for improvement in how these situations are handled, and will further acknowledge that, perhaps, some situations are beyond the scope of a general customer service agent which can lead to confusion on how to handle these issues.
...which circles us back to whether or not things can be improved, to which, again, I do believe that they can.
edit: Thinking about it, I believe the most recent ones I can distinctly remember came about when players were reporting party finder ads for RP venues, e or otherwise (but probably usually at least believing it was e). Although I'm sure there was at least a few more unrelated since, there have been a lot of disgruntled, "gaoled" players.

Gotta love how people feel self righteous about being snitches lmao
Streamers flaunting the rules do so to a worldwide base. They aren't silently eating a Snickers in the corner. They're eating it smacking their mouths as loudly as possible and crinkling the wrapper as loud as possible.Jason: MRS. SMITH!!
*raises hand*
Teacher: Yes, Jason?
Jason: Matthew is eating a Snickers in class!
*furiously points at Matthew*
Matthew shoots an angry glare at Jason
Teacher: Detention, Matthew!
Jason: Maybe if you didn't eat a Snickers in class you wouldn't get detention! Hahaha!
Rest of the class rolls their eyes at Jason

This is the state of FF14's playerbase right now.
Then they're all shocked Pikachu surprised when they get caught.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Not saying Jason is wrong, just saying Jason doesn't have any friends.
