If they wanted to they could ban you for using discord
it says so in the ToS: no third party tools, it's purposely vague so that it encompasses everything and gives them the right to ban you for any reason or no reason.

Sounds like Jason knows the rules.
Perhaps Matthew shouldn't blatantly thumb his nose at the rules....or try to hide it a little better?

Yup. I'm seeing the mass bans now everyone showing their Discord in Stream. Shameful isn't it? The sky is falling!!
Sorry thought this argument here about discord was going to be intellectually honest. It's just parroting the same stuff with no evidence that beCause tHey ArE VaGUE.

I hope that the teacher keeps giving out punishments for those who eat candy bars during class.
that's the whole argument here: they can enforce or not enforce the rule whenever they want to whoever they want, because third party tools encompasses something every single player uses.Yup. Sorry thought this argument here about discord was intellectually honest. but nahhhhhhhhhh. It's SO VAGUE that everyone is predicting what's happening over the obvious :P
the argument is whether this is a fair enforcement of the rules or not

Is it though? Can they see everyone's discord? No? - okay so they're gonna just ban you for something they literally said time and time and again they can't see.
When COULD they see it? If you're streaming with it and using tools, like say AN API that uses the bot that directly interacts with the game...like say using the function that used to let people see Marketboard prices across servers. OR say you hooked up the bot to an ACT callout trigger for your group. But SE wouldn't know any of this unless you display this publicly.
But I mean hey, we can keep playing chicken little.
that's the beauty, they don't have to tell you it's discord, they just send a GM and say you used third party tools and now you are suspended. Is it though? Can they see everyone's discord? You can claim you never used any third party tools but
1. nobody will believe you
2. you probably did use discord
3. you cannot appeal this decision
4. you cannot demand a review of this action
5. you can only request the data they collected from you if you live in an EU country and submit a GDPR request that takes about a month to complete, and will probably result in useless data
the argument is whether these 5 points are a fair set of rules

Sure, so now with this Shadow Illuminati group. You have evidence to support your claim? Or are you just "supposing"?that's the beauty, they don't have to tell you it's discord, they just send a GM and say you used third party tools and now you are suspended.

I mean what is happening is an obvious result of heavily viewed Race, not some sneaky SE employee twirling their mustache looking for someone to stream Discord to ban them and nO One wILL eVEr know
