I suppose the forum users don't play the game.

It's the same community. The only reason people don't speak up as much in-game, is because they are afraid of getting banned.

Im saying the Experience being online and playing the game, are different from the FFXIV Forums. There is a difference.

And nah, there are plenty of people who arnt afraid to speak their mind. These people are typically the High-End Raiders though.
I only ever really see them when running that level of content. But every so often they are in the Open world, in dungeons, Raids, and in Trials. Even the PF.
So its not like they dont exist, or they are "Afraid"

The forums aren't even really "toxic". People are rightfully upset, about a modicum of issues recently. These are the official forums; somewhere to attempt to post feedback to the devs. A few troll threads by a couple people, aside. It's all completely understandable.

The thing a lot of people here confuse is what "toxicity" really is.

I will usually speak my mind in game and risk a ban. I am sorry but if you are level 90 and you can't run a dungeon and do this crap right, that needs to be called out. How do you spend like 400 - 500 hours playing a game an not know how to play the game still. I am not even talking about being optimized either people get to level 90 and cannot play this game at a basic level. Sure you can blame lack of difficulty curve, or the devs for not teach you, but the finger you should be pointing is at yourselves. I just can't comprehend doing something for 500+ hours and not improving and understanding.

You can try to say its the high end raiders that do this, but it's not just them. Normal people that want to just play the damn game get annoyed by that crap too.

They choose not to 'improve' that's why. They want to play the game their way, and if someone tries to question that, that's a report.

If there are people with 400-500hours that dont know how to platy the game..odds are it might be someone on someones else's account. That or even the person may not have played the game in a while. You may say No Excuse...but the person just might have one.
