I think they should consider the fact that people are actively using extra UI and HUD changes that there is an obvious issue with there UI that pushed players to do this.

There aren't huge glaring issues with the UI and game that necessitates these mods. It's just a modding arms race where to be competitive with the world first race you need to have these plugins because they reduce the overhead and make coordinating and progging these fights easier. When you're aiming for world first those minutes you save matter.
