SCH Biolysis stacking and WHM lasers galore are the reasons I haven't queued for Frontlines after the 5th day of the patch. I'd love it if Biolysis could be removed with Purify.

That would make SCH weaker in CC, the mode that actually matters for balancing and SCH is already mediocre in. I don't mind AOE or DoT caps, but making it outright removeable makes SCH worse to play than it is already in CC.

The past is prologue
A bit tips to handle the Biospread-cult:
• Spread out a bit, don’t give the SCH chance to spread their plague.
• Watch your debuff bar. Two or more Bio means back away or expend your Recuperate. I’ve seen people who just willingly stays on the front row despite seeing 3+ bio stacks already running on them. Of course at that point they are handing out the silver platter for enemy’s DPSes for easy kills/assist kills for the SCH! This is what I and other fellow nerds take advantage of for our gain: enemy's unawareness, just like any other jobs.
• If your team is decent, mark that SCH and they will be happy to hunt/pull that SCH for an easy kill when they sprint forward to spread their bio. As Packetdancer had mentioned, 25y is still not exactly safe because ideally they want to be closer than that to make sure their biospread are centered as close as possible with the group.
• Battle Highs matter. Kill them before they amass their BH or if they have BHs. This is a form of damage control. Gotta love it when two-third of your team jumps at that bait-DRK/PLD while that BH5 SCH sneaks from their rear to spread their plague and immediately back away.
I always notify my group when I see at least 4 SCHs from opposing side then start using the less-used markers like "Bind this target", "Number 3/4/5" to ensure they stay visible to as much players as possible. This helps A LOT.

This. This is so crucial. If you chase after the SCH back into their team and their team obliterates you, then the SCH gets the assists. If you let several of your team get lured in, the SCH gets a lot of assists. Moreover, if multiple SCH have put Biolysis on you, that's just increasing the problem if you die and give several SCHs an assist.Battle Highs matter. If you do this more than once, you are setting yourself up for Pain.
SCH is very squishy and cannot do a lot of damage by default; even Biolysis itself isn't that deadly. But if you let the SCH farm assists and gain a lot of battle high... like I said earlier, a Book Club of nerds with battle high traveling in a pack is functionally a mobile hydrogen bomb. And that has potential to become an immense problem for the opposing team, not leastwise because when they reach the point that they are basically a tactical nuke, they start amassing battle high even faster, and that can easily become a problem you no longer have the capacity to take down easily.
Kill the SCH before they amass battle high -- and back off when you have Biolysis -- and they stay very squishy, and thus not that much of a problem.
I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.Originally Posted by Packetdancer
