sadly not. in most dungeons lets say you don't need tanks or healers any more, so they are not that important. i call tank the leader as he the one pulling.Tanks are not the leader of the party. There is no leader, everybody is equally important and needs to do their job. DPS kill enemies, Tanks get agro, healers keep people alive. There is no dedicated puller, and any tank who refuses to get agro because they didn't pull the mob or because they think they are the leader of the party is griefing.
I am not the leader in a party, I am a member of a four person team. The idea of putting myself in a "leadership" position over three people that I am going to spend at most, the next 15 minutes with seems absurdly egotistical.
but pulling for the tank never even give a fuck to ask for bigger pulls is not egotistical and rude at all. and as a tank i pull wall to wall as far as the party ,members are nice. but i rarely run by Randoms from DF for this reason.
Honestly I don’t mind if they do pull for me as when I am running towards the next group of enemies the mobs running after me are being damaged at the same time, and sometimes drops hate on me to the dps.
just press ur auto run and then take a sip of water, aint nobody got time to look at the scenery for 3 WHOLE SECONDS
oh and pls pull the bosses immediately too while at it (but not with ur gapcloser, dont screw ur melee pls)
You probably don't use sprint a single time in a dungeon like 98% of tanks in FF. Use it on cioldown every pull. Problem solvedAs someone who likes tanking dungeons I've noticed a trend, at least on Materia, of DPS and Healers deciding to pull.
This can be in the form of using a ranged attack on an enemy I haven't reached yet (waiting to get into melee range for an AoE). Or if I pause for 3 seconds after a boss to take a drink of water, by the time I put the bottle back down the DPS has run off
I am not talking about the case where the tank only pulls one or two packs and the healer is encouraging to pull more by bringing a few friends. This isn't a small packs vs wall to wall issue.
I don't remember really ever seeing this on NA/JP DCs but maybe that's changed too?
Is this something players on other DCs are seeing?
TLR. Get good
Talk with your party members at the start of the dungeon or during as needs require to be sure everyone is on the same page, it's actually that easy. It's also so easy to establish or take back main aggro as a tank (literally one button) that anyone not doing so is purposely throwing a tantrum or playing poorly. The dungeons for the most part are designed for double pulls and any healer/tank combo has all the tools needed to handle these by 50.
Any tank refusing to do the tasks of their role in an attempt to "punish" the other members of their party is literally breaking ToS so good luck with that. If you don't want big pulls for some reason, clearly establish that to your party and if they don't want to go along with it then simply leave. It'll save everyone the headache and reports on both sides when the conversation inevitably goes sideways due to egos, unless they start overtly harassing you.

I saw it on light DC all the time because I'm doing it myself.
SO BECOUSE people wont to force you and being rude you need to take a 30 min bad form DF? sounds logical to you?Talk with your party members at the start of the dungeon or during as needs require to be sure everyone is on the same page, it's actually that easy.
