I'm so glad they got rid of weak Coblyns/Doblyns...The only thing close to what you talking about were the eft party's we used to have. Taking on was hard enough and there was always the chance of aggro which would mean certain death. I remember when we were doing this plenty of people would take the easy way out and solo/duo coblyns in copper bell mines.
My signature is edible. Go ahead, try some.
I'm actually still a little upset about that. I'm all for "prolonging battle," so battle can be savored, but I prefer diversity above all else.
In "that of which we do not speak," although it was poorly implemented, there were multiple ways to level.
You could make burn parties to take on "weaker" mobs, but get high chains (thus, resulting in larger amounts of exp), or you could take on "harder" mobs for an increase in length of battle (resulting in lower chains, but a much higher base exp).
Without a new engine and server we wont get that diversity we wantI'm actually still a little upset about that. I'm all for "prolonging battle," so battle can be savored, but I prefer diversity above all else.

I think Yoshi realizes what needs to be done, so our fight mechanics consist of more than "avoid the poo"
I agree. He certainly knows that SOMETHING needs to be done. The problem is....he might not choose the *RIGHT way to fix it. Hence, my decision to start this thread :P
