No, it definitely is hyperbole. There are several threads on the very front page that heavily criticize the developers, their approach, the story, and the content they release. In fact, you are sitting in a very thread doing such. So I don't think you can really make the comment that your voices are being silenced via report and ban. If this is in fact the case, then some people need to revise what they deem as cordial behavior. Something must be wrong if some voices are silent, whilst some aren't. Just take this very thread. 8 threads on the front page have the nature of providing critique.

If you feel this is the case, or if other people do then they ought to revise the definition of cordial in their dictionary, because suffice to say there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. Furthermore, not all reports result in a ban.

Again with the hyperbole. People aren't getting banned just for offering differing opinions. You'd have to have violated something to be banned. Again the fact threads like these are still up proves that no you aren't being silenced.

The only classes even remotely close to what you describe is healers (at times). I sure as ever don't feel like I'm pressing one button when playing Sage. And I've NEVER seen anyone say not to heal them in ANY piece of content. If anything it's normally don't JUST heal, dps as well.

u dont feel like pressing 1 button dont mean that the job is actually working like that.
no offense but in the site which shall not be named u have evidence that is not the case for healers and worse that the 1 button they do press most of the time is definitely not the heal button.
also you cannot deny there is no major balance issues with the rpg trinity going in the game when you have literally evidence that you can pull every normal run without a healer and to top it off you have documented savage runs without an entire role.

when u run a normal dungeon and you don't need to heal guess what buttons the healer don't press and due to bad job design stuck to press until ad nauseam?

It's been years. Like I said, the game has been getting worse since SB.

I will admit that here in EW, people are voicing their concerns a bit more because the majority feel the same.

If thats my experience then that's my experience. To me it's rare to just be pressing one button the entire time in content unless it's very old. I've never said that healers aren't simple. I'll never claim they're broken or boring as in my experience that's not the case and I think that's ok.
Also I've not seen any of this so called documented evidence that you can do all pulls in the game without a healer. For starters I'd like to see that In Zot with all 4 tanks

also when you say folks like you , you mean folks like the healers warning about whm mp issues or you mean the Hrothgar who lost their ears cause of their bad hairstyles which were in developed for 3+ years or maybe nin and sam who never asked for those changes which came out of nowhere and no one gave such feedback?

your experience is not the others, and evidence show that is not the case for healers so again the "i dont experience it so it dont exist" argument is basically thin air.
as for not seen ,try watching youtube or see reddit from time to time there were tons especially the famous solo p1n runs for each of the tanks.

Yes, I can find many dead threads on this forum with plenty of critiques of the game. So once again I tell you, there is plenty of evidence to the contrary regarding your conspiracy theory that there is a deliberate silencing of people who are offering critique. Bluntly put, I'm just going to say either there's a disparity between what you understand as being cordial, and what is in reality expressing oneself in a cordial manner. Alternatively, people are just trying to garner sympathy with the illusion that they are being silenced for merely offering critique. Once again, evidence to the contrary regarding your claim and the exhibit are these very threads. If other threads have been deleted it is likely because of a significant overflow of people doing needless back and forth with insults as opposed to being banned or removed for offering a cordial opinion of the game. If this were the case then this thread alongside the thread regarding the disapproval of the storytelling in the game would have been removed long ago (Maybe if threads have been deleted the person should try and elect for a more civil route in future).

My only problem with your post was:

No when I say folks like you I mean people who make baseless claims and use hyperbole to make a point. People aren't being banned left n right JUST for critism dude. That in fact is false. But apparently my rebuttal isn't factual enough for you. (Which is hilarious because my actual rebuttal was before the post you decided to quote).

And my experience is just as valid as yours. I never claimed folks who find it boring are wrong. I didn't even make the "I don't experience it so it doesn't exist" argument. You (like many others) are putting words in my mouth trying to paint me in a bad light. And if tanks are about to solo p1n that sounds less like a healer issue and more like a tank issue. They're either to OP or the content isn't hard enough. And I've yet to see folks call for Tank nerfs other than War. Buffing healers won't make those P1n magically stop being doable via tans only
