I think the reality of this situation is a group of butt hurt players are raining on a good idea because somewhere in their past they had decided that FFXIV wasn't worth their time and abandoned it or never gave it 'the time of day'.

Now those players want to bypass the fact that they gave up and had no faith so they can be counted amongst those that didnt give up?

Nope. Time tells all: decisions were made and thats final. No one can change that. You can keep trying to debase the ppl that gave this game and community its legs but you won't succeed.

The titles stand for far more than 16 ppl that cry "unfair" because they simply didnt care about this community until it was "fixed" all nice and pretty for them.

You have to earn your time. Even if there's no titles or helms or goggles or gloves, the achievement still exists.

Stop crying and accept fate.

Believe it or not some ppl actually "play" FFXIV on a regular basis.

I myself work 6am-5pm and play 5:30pm-12am every weekday (unless i feel like going to see a movie or something).

You're just trying to make counter arguments to the feasibility of this threads request, which is admirable.

However, 67+ people don't seem to share your same passion for being an antagonist in this matter.

its not the achievement i dont like, its using time played as part of it. far too many people just leave thier character logged on more then they play. But i really dont care either way it would just be a title to tell people i played before them so w/e.

First off when was getting things for free a crime or debasing?

I really don't respect any of your far sided ramblings so i don't know why you're even bothering to post here.

Also, you can keep calling it free if you wish to continue being blind to the matter.

However, time and effort = work and when you put time and effort into something then you have worked for it which does NOT make it free.

Otherwise, SE should take butchers crown out of the game because it (like all other achievements) are based on time sinks.
