[dev1002] CE/Veteran Title Request

The dev team (possibly YP) did respond to something like this at some point awhile back. Pretty much they said 'it'll be clear who played pre-2.0' Upon which players were making jokes like 'guess we'll be covered in ash' etc. They didn't make it any more clear than this. Now this being said, there is plenty of stuff in game atm we can do that goes away after 2.0. Not only that, but lots of the items/lodestone history we have now will no longer be achieveable post 2.0.

1.Goobue
2.Purple Aytherite Quests
3.You won't start 2.0 as a rank 1 character
4. Possibly some primal weapons like Ifrit/Moogle
5. Possibly some of the dungeons like Darkhold
6. Your achievements/lodestone history
7. And well, you can see how long ANYONE has been playing based on their lodestone history.

Anyway that being said, it'll be BEYOND obvious who played pre-2.0 without any special rewards. I mean, really you don't think the new players will notice that your gear looks a little snazzier than their hempen doublets?

Im talking about the ppl who:

Put up with:
-EXP Fatigue
-30min - 1hour login cues
-servers that crashed every 10 minutes+
-Battle Regiments
-crafting that always botched
-fighting when every mob was overpowered
-fighting mobs that took no damage
-CNJ EXP Curing exploits
-Leave looping
...this list could go for hours

Were not just "Pre 2.0 Players"

We're an entirely different generation. From an entirely different time. There's well deserved pride in that. To say otherwise is just jelly talk.

I am not wrong in asking for this. The point of Achievements is to show others what you have ACHIEVED. You're telling me that surviving this long isn't an achievement?

It is an achievement! It deserves acknowledgement. If people are jealous over this then thats too bad. It was my time invested, not yours. Asking for a damn text title as compensation is not even beginning to "ask too much".

I do not like the thought of this idea. They have already given us a mount to prove whom have supported SE prior to patch 2.0. Not to mention there are still players joining the game and those of us whom have joined in the past year. Are we to be at a loss because we decided to start playing after the game was released? I honestly didn't know the game had been released till august of last year. After I had found out it had been released I proceeded to buy it. Since then I have been a loyal customer and player of the game. I even post on the forums regularly when I feel the topic is of interest or applies to me. So, I feel that as a player whom hasn't played since release I will be left out due to the fact of my ignorance. I would like to obtain this title as well if it is released in to the game but I would already be exempt from obtaining it. How is that fair to me?

They didn't list a Title anywhere. Neither did they say no to one. So
I have every right to ask
