However, time and effort = work and when you put time and effort into something then you have worked for it which does NOT make it free.

Otherwise, SE should take butchers crown out of the game because it (like all other achievements) are based on time sinks.

Playing the game isnt an achievment, playing the game is entertainment, theres a huge difference

i dont play games for them to give me free in game gifts, i play it to enjoy it and to play whats in the game itself

something that happened close to 2 years ago is NOT current in the game anymore, so what if you played at launch, good for you, so did I but does that mean i deserve more then other people?

well maybe it does, but lets look at the facts of what ive already gotten

1) a head start on everyone who started after
2) level 50 in everything in the time ive been playing
3) tens of millions of saved gil on top of almost 1900 achievment points, most of which are due to the fact i had a head start on so many people and never quit playing
4) The ability to play everything as it comes out, when its most relevent
5) the ability to play all the limited time/single patch only content that has already been removed


how much more can you really keep asking for?

How about a compromise, how about a title for, "Survivor of the Apocalypse/Ragnarok," or "Meteor Visionary," or, "I Saw Dalamud Destroy the World and all I got was this Title?" Or (for playing through Beta/1.XX) "In the beginning.... was <Player Name>," instead of, "I've Played the Game for <Login Timer>, and I'm Better Because of It!" as alternatives?

The main mechanic in MMOs is about getting more more more.

The Titles are what they are: just more for players to gain.

Im not really surprised. As you can see the people posting here are resorting to immature forum troll tactics against me for a mere Title request.

I'm a helpful person in game and this thread was originated via a conversation me and some Lindblum friends were having.

Now these forum trolls have come in and are attempting to shut it down.

Theres a right way and wrong way to express opinions. These ppl are resorting to insults and misguided retellings of the OP in order to shut it down.

If it was anything else they would have just popped it and said: "I don't support this idea" and then left. Or if they supported it the Like the OP.

But the fact that they keep harassing my thread shows their true intentions: just trouble makers

its ok for you to post in response to everyone else in this thread to praise them and argue with them

but if someone else does it, no matter how logical their points may be, they are a troll, and need to stop

sorry, doesnt work that way, you arent getting trolled, your being told how bad your idea is and being given tons of reasons why, sorry if you dont agree with them, but we have as much a right to post as you do
