Fun fact, in the patch note live reading, they just skipped over the samurai adjustments section, most likely due to unpopular comments.

As for the kaiten removal, kenki generation and consumption was not changed.
Which means whatever kenki was spent on kaiten, will now be spent on shinten.
Further more, with the shinten potency adjust, Gyoten/Yaten are now the same potency per kenki as Shinten, meaning if in a burst window you are left with 10 kenki before the buff/debuffs end, you do a gyoten.
Also, the change to third eye duration encourages further uses of third eye.

They said kaiten removal was for action bloat, this changes nothing regarding action bloat.
