With these changes, the devs are confirming they think the majority of us are incapable of learning complex rotations and can only follow the shiny buttons

That's what they believed when they changed DRK into a brainless 1-2-3 OGC's infested spamfest. You guys are getting a decent taste of what we had to go through.
They´ve already confirmed it with the endless MNK changes, SMN changes, and so on... It´s ridiculous how hard they shit on long-time mains just to continue with their braindead-route in kind of class- and gameplay-design to cater left-handed ppl and old granny.
They don´t even give af about all the complaints on the forum. Nothing will change as always, it´ll only get worse patch per patch. The only solution is to drop all the subs and to show them the middlefinger. To stop their income is the only way to change something.

Oi! I'm left handed, mate! And I have no problem playing ANY of the jobs, past or present! xDThey´ve already confirmed it with the endless MNK changes, SMN changes, and so on... But seriously, I thought of this years ago when the devs got rid of staus ailments/debuffs: They'll eventually design themselves into a corner with all these simplification redesigns and will then be forced to actually put some effort into redesigning almost every job class to function as an individual job again instead acting as an homogeneous role.
If they were smart, they would leave the core of every job class almost nearly untouched, like they did with BLM and just build upon them slowly over time. Spreading out the work, if you will, so they wouldn't have to redesign these jobs every 2 to 5 years in the first place.
Which is why they'd have to create new core gsmeplay for every job. BUT! They're more than likely going to homogenize all job roles (except for a few, like BLM) at their core to their simplest form and build upon them that eventually will lead to individualization of every job. How much? I would take a guess at them being at most 25 to 50% more unique then what all jobs are right now. At least if they went that far, Jobs would more or less have an identity that couldn't easily be considered a reskin of one another.
