While I'm excited for patch 6.1, I have to admit that they really dropped the ball with this one.

Not only did they choose hairstyles that would look silly on Hrothgar (except for Snow), they clipped the ears with the explanation that the ears are under the hair, even though Miqo'te can wear these hairstyles and show their ears with no problem.

It made sense for Viera to get pre-existing hairstyles since they're pretty much humans and they wouldn't look out of place.

Hrothgar though should've gotten more race-specific hairstyles, or at the least they should've chosen styles that would've actually looked good on Hrothgar.

I'm guessing none of them play Hrothgar. That would explain why they took such a lazy and apathetic approach to it. Super disappointing and hope it gets fixed soon.

I was honestly surprised Hrothgar didn't get race-exclusive hair, I thought they would get it first... The entire Hrothgar structure choice has been so questionable since the beginning, it makes you wonder how much thought they put into these races' future plans? Or perhaps SE severely underestimated the community's desire for customizing our characters. The reason why I'm so obsessed with Viera & Hrothgar receiving race-exclusive hair is because I don't want to believe these races were brought in for the sake of being restricted, with no plans to make up for it. Someone did point out though, the 2019 Yoshi-P statement might have been a mis-translation, so maybe we could ask for clarification from our JPN-forum friend?

Either way, I'm fairly certain the design department may be too busy with F-Hrothgar at this point to give either of Viera/Hrothgar race-exclusive hair. For all we know, these pre-existing hair could just be a stand-in until both gender counterparts have been implemented, and then SE will go on from there.
