The best analogy that I can think of when it comes to this situation is this:

You go to a restaurant and order a steak, the waiter says it will be done as soon as possible. After a few moments, you can see a lot of waiters bringing food to the other tables and everything looks amazing. An hour passes and your food is still not here, you ring the waiter to see what's wrong and they say they will bring it forth to the chefs and look forward to it. The second hour passes, you try and ring the waiter but he ignores you, meanwhile, the food for the other tables keeps coming. Three hours pass and you get ready to request to talk to the manager when the waiter comes out with a plate of food and comes toward you. But there is a problem... the steak is raw and the vegetables are burnt. You ask the waiter "What is this?" and they say to please understand and pretend the meat is cooked and the vegetables aren't burned. You get angry and demand to speak with the manager, they come with the chef in the toe and start to explain to you that this was a hard day for the chef, he lost 5 dollars on the side of the road and his pet cow keeps farting in the living room, as well as the stove that they used to prepare your meal doesn't work. As a human being, you empathise with them and say that you get it, but you are a customer who has been delivered raw food after being put to wait for 3 hours. You get that the chef had a bad time, but this at the end of your day is not your problem to solve, it's the restaurant's. You didn't receive what you requested after waiting for more than 3 hours, meanwhile, everyone else in that restaurant seemed to get good food in a timely manner.
