New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

I would still see it as a useless addition if the only new styles added are sideburn variations that already exist and hairstyles that remove ears. The absolute bare minimum would be letting people change their racial hairstyle in game for free, ears included.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I think that the new hairstyles look absolutely horrible because of that very reason and yes, if the racial hairstyles aren't part of the new hairstyle section, we can and should go back to complaining about it.

It does say "male Viera will be available" vs. "these changes will be available", changing to the opposite gender has always been behind a Fantasia but Hrothgar's situation is completely unique to them so it's hard to tell.

It just seems like they couldn't be bothered to change the wording, copy-pasted it and exchanged the first two words lol. Because why make it unambiguous if you can go for confusing instead?

Imagine grinding tomestones for the earring only for you to not be able to use it the day the event ends.

Imagine having an entire collection of earrings, cause if you can't wear hats, you might as well have earrings, right? And then be made completely unavailable. And still, have to pay for Fantasia to change the hairstyles.

I kinda wish they had added the unique hrothgar options you can see on the Bozja NPCs, but nah, scratch scar is clearly a superior option.

It can be, that the Bozja-NPC-options do not fit very well with some pieces of clothing. The game has already bigger clipping issues. So they decided to not implement the Bozja-NPC-options because some pieces of clothing could produce very ugly results. But maybe it will be possible with 7.0 and the character overhaul.

I mean, maybe? But there's literally a unique face option that doesn't effect clipping at all. My character's mane clips through 80% of collared chest pieces anyways, so the clipping argument seems like a non issue at this point.

yeah but like half my glams my weapons and such will clip through my hoods. see: every caster robe ever, rebel coat, casual jacket, etc. even the level 50 whm robe you got back in arr clipped through canes. also when they introduced longer hairstyles for all races they were like "oh it may clip lmao".

so to suddenly care about clipping now is just absurd. like why.
