This in addition to the new hairstyle section suggests that we will be able to change hairstyles using the Aesthetician after all.

I would still see it as a useless addition if the only new styles added are sideburn variations that already exist and hairstyles that remove ears. The absolute bare minimum would be letting people change their racial hairstyle in game for free, ears included.
