I'm giving the benefit of the doubt here that they're waiting for the big graphics rehaul in 7.0 to give the hrothgar the proper treatment (and maybe not make them go deaf). But this is insulting at best.

I would still see it as a useless addition if the only new styles added are sideburn variations that already exist and hairstyles that remove ears. The absolute bare minimum would be letting people change their racial hairstyle in game for free, ears included.

It does say "male Viera will be available" vs. "these changes will be available", changing to the opposite gender has always been behind a Fantasia but Hrothgar's situation is completely unique to them so it's hard to tell.

I really hope that's the case though and they didn't just mess up the wording with Hairstyle section just meaning Face. Adding new hairstyles only to keep them locked behind Fantasia after all this time would really be punching down, I don't think anyone wants to pay to have their ears removed.

I'm not sure why they didn't readjust the wording, taking into account Hrothgar's situation... But it's given me hope that they have fixed the issue.

I am understandably bummed about this whole situation. I've been so hype for new hairstyles for a long time and I was hoping the 9S style would be useable, but not like this. I'm trying to stay a little bit positive, I can almost never find a headpiece I like due to limitations anyways, so I guess I'll rock the 9S style with the tamamo headband. I just hope I don't have to fanta.
