"Don't use it" isn't a solution, it's ignoring what could be a useful feature. It's not a solution. You don't fix things by ignoring them. I find it highly strange just how adverse or allergic the XIV community is in regards to fixing small oddities like this, instead opting to circumvent them, simply accept the jank or rough edges, or flat out ignore them and pretend it doesn't exist.

People misread things and can miss things that were posted.

"Don't use it" is a solution to your problem. Just because the solution causes you an additional problem, doesn't make it any less of a solution to the problem.

Your solution could also give other players a problem. Anything that affects player movement and camera is likely to affect players who have set their preferences up based on how it currently is. You changing that, could have an impact on other players. What if there are players who like the way you move with Target Lock on? Are they just supposed to give way to your preference? What if more players prefer how it is over what your suggestion would do?
