I would love to see a well-done expansion set in a culture based around Africa for a lot of the reasons you describe - the caveat being, of course, that it would have to be well-done. I actually feel a lot of trepidation about the prospect of a potential New World expansion, because, uh, given the Vanu-Vanu and Mamool Ja, I do not have a lot of confidence in the team's ability to portray indigenous people in a respectful way.

But as far as I'm concerned, the more variety and history in the world we get to explore and see intermingle, the better. That's just how worlds are! I can enjoy traditional fantasy castles as much as anyone, but that's certainly not all I'd be interested in seeing. Its reiteration over and over across the genre gets a bit tiresome, honestly. I was surprised at how much I ended up enjoying Thavnair as a setting.
