The point I was making was that it is ridiculous that Emet-Selch gets a pass from his fans for literally being the mastermind behind several murderous campaigns (to the point he calls his future self a megalomaniac in Endwalker!), but Venat gets criticized for trying to talk her people out of a slow process of circular suicide.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. Just wanted to emphasize to people, he's arguably much worse despite having a legion of fujoshi doing romantic fanart.
