I asked several times how the **** was he promoted to good guy and in the artwork and final walk scene in the credits with the other good guys. At no point was he not a villain.

No character in this game annoys me as much as Hope in FF13 did. No character is more deserving of being slapped so hard their face stays red for a month then him. He is the king of annoying useless characters. Put ashai, aplhy,lyse and minfilia togather you get HOPE!!!

It’s super interesting you brought up Hope. I played FF13 at sixteen the year my mom died. You’d think I’d sympathize with his situation. Nope. He annoyed me to tears to the point I rolled my eyes at his antics.

Minfilia, it's not even close. I would sooner have Lyse as my permanent traveling companion for the next 10 years than have to endure anything more to do with Minfilia, easily the worst written character in the game who ruins every other character by her mere presence.

He was fine as exarch but afterwards he just became shitty fanservice meant to stroke the players’ ego and fawn over every little thing.Really takes away from the severity of the situation when the story focuses more on haha cute catboy eating a burger than the actual storyline. He makes the game feel more like a slice of life anime than an rpg.
