I mean I played NIN for fun back in the days it was Uber valued, I just didn’t care because I took DRG into the few Savages I tried.
It’s just after they slowed it down, I just don’t find the job fun anymore.
Is it possible, however unlikely, that some people enjoy things that you do not?
NIN doesn't have to be for everyone; the game has over a dozen classes from which to choose. I personally enjoy NIN more than any of the other classes, but it's ok that some others don't. If there comes a time when I enjoy another class more than NIN, I'll switch mains.
Lol you are stretching it, of course there will be people who enjoy a class even if it's only 1% of the player base. Stats shows that ninja is one of the least played class in lv90 content and that means something. Pretty sure if ninja is actually enjoyable to play, more people would parse with it.
And if SE know any better I'm 85% sure ninja will be changed sooner or later, no point of arguing, Raiju is just bad...like what..
Ninja's are just really fast paced and error prone. The kind of person that plays at level 90 consistently is generally concerned with performing the best they can on the role they have, so if you got a choice between playing a job that has a lot of places one can slip up vs a job that is slower or just has more strait forward attacks, people are going to gravitate towards them. I have fun on the job when leveling it but I wouldn't use it in end game.
Fast paced but if you make a mistake you are heavily punished for it. If Ninja did damage close to SAM, MNK, RPR then it would be justified but it doesnt. The actions per minute doesnt justify and trick attack is what devs use to justify it. I would put trick attack on a 2min burst window timer if it means improving its personal dps.
