Something really frustrating with Ten Chi Jin too is how it's a 2 min cd that breaks so easily if your character takes even a micro step.
I don't think there's any other Job in the game punished that hard for the game deciding that you moved one pixel...
I have it bound to Shift E and am considering trying to move it somewhere else but I dunno where tbh I feel like I already have everything setup well and don't want to move anything, I dunno if it's just that sometimes I let go of shift like a micro second too early or something.
It's very rare that it happens usually what I do is basically just lift my hand completely immediately after I've pressed the button but it still happens every now and again that it cancels ...
Even if it's very rare it's still extremely frustrating and it shouldn't be a thing imo.
They should at least allow you to move inside the Ten Chi Jin area ( what your character puts down on the ground ).
It's just beyond stupid that it cancels altogether if you move at all and I don't have a problem with this on anything else that requires you to stand and cast like SAM it's only Ten Chi Jin that is a problem for me with this.
It's not like my character actually visually moves to the side my character is completely still to my eyes it must be like the smallest pixel imaginable either that or the game is actually just registering a movement happening anyway because of the E button or something.
Another thing is Doton in the opener, it's stupid.
Part of your opener shouldn't be that relient on your tank and I think that generally speaking it's not a good thing when they have to accommodate you like that.
Maybe just let us stock up on a Doton when out of combat or something so you cast it and then it can be stocked as second button like Raiju stacks and you can just cast it when combat has started instead.
But yeah there's stuff like this with NIN that makes it feel like you're punished way harder for things that aren't even really your fault.
And even if you do it all then your numbers will still be lower regardless there's no winning here.
Edit: Also I move a lot with the mouse ( both buttons pressed ), I think this is also a problem with Ten Chi Jin so it's not only the E key.
I also let go completely of the mouse tho when I press Ten Chi Jin and it still registers sometimes...
I just really hate the way it works.
