Emet's bewilderment when we tell him of Zodiark and the Final Days is so very heartbreaking. Enthralled by Zodiark, we don't actually get to interact with the Hades that has a will of his own until Elpis, and he's like, "WHAT? Forsake my brethren? Insult the memories of those sacrificed by recreating Amaurot in an ocean? Genocide!?" Then we find out this Hades is actually fond of us, though of course he would never admit to that.

It's like, crap! We already had a ton of reasons to love you Emet. But nope, he wasn't done yet.

Ugh
