Still enjoying the discussion! Great to see how many other Zenos fans are out there, and awesome seeing all the comments on Emet-selch.
I do have plans in the making for his tribute video as well. TBH Emet is probably my favorite character in the entire story so far. I only found him amusing at first, but once I saw his recreation of Amaurot in the ocean depths... I really started to understand him. Such a hopeless romantic, cynical, honorable. Overall great character.
Youth isn't just used for someone very young. Youth can be used for teenager or early 20s. If that is him as Themis, then youth would definitely apply.
I read enough Regency romances to have seen it used for the naive eager young pup in his early 20s many a time.

Bah, wasn't gonna post again, but here. Last one.
I've read period works as well, and it isn't nearly so frequent to refer to someone in their 20s as a "youth" physically, but mentally, which follows with your example. They're referring to the behavior. Regardless, doesn't change the fact that the word, by and large throughout time, is used to refer to someone pre-adulthood, or that the cutoff for childhood and adolescence was lower in the past than it is now.
I'm not saying Elidibus is like, 10 years old in ancient terms, but it's really undeniable that he wasn't an adult when everything went wrong.
Yuyuhase's original JP VA (among others, even non-JP) would like a word with you.
I looked youth age range up because I wanted to see what it said. Most sources I've found say it's 15-24. That's not a child. At the earliest he'd be an adolescent, at the latest a young man or young adult.
Our lord Zenos is watching this thread and he would like the attention to return to him please thank you.
Buahaha jkjk you all are awesome peoples.
I am aware of what youth is. Alright? I just think that his voice doesn't match his face. That's all.
