Guys, you don't even want to know how much money they made by keeping hrothgar and especially viera races so limited for all this time... So many people fantasia to them, get annoyed and fantasia away. Adding more half-assed races like male viera and soon maybe female hrothgar is much more profitable for them than actually fixing what's already there.

The more amazing character you can create, the less often you are likely to buy fantasia and SE knows it, that's why its probably not a priority. It's so sad actually...

As sad as this is, its probably a true fact

I've only changed off of my hrothgar a few times since I've created him back in ShB, but you are right. I ended up getting several friends into 14 who wanted to play Hroth

They either

1. Switched to hyur, Au Ra, or Miqo'te
2. Quit all together

Which is sad because I was really looking forward to play with the ones who quit. When glim glams are a huge part of the game for a game like XIV, its very disappointing when they refuse to deliver for some of the races (Im looking at how bad roe's look in a lot of things...more specifically Male Roes. I mean, who wants to dress up a refrigerator?)
