Optimist: actual new hairstyles, and Hroth CC is overhauled and their hair and face are completely separated and can use the aesthetician freely

Pessimist: face 2, the most popular face/"hair" gets copy pasted into the other 3 and call it a day. Still need to Fantasia

Realist: still need Fantasia, but all 8 hairstyles are copied onto each of the 4 faces, making a total of 32 "faces" to choose from.

I can't see them updating the hairs for hrothgar and still making you buy fantasia to change it... I believe they're not that evil.

What makes me uncertain of separating hair and face is that you can customize the hair through the facial tab, like removing bangs or braids, so I'm not sure if they'd either make those details compatible with all hairstyles, or remove the option altogether. That's why I think the "easier" solution would be to just copy paste more variations of each face with each different hairstyle, like how they did to add derplander's stubble.

I think they will do it like they do with viera, have each of the hairstyles in 2 variations, with and without the added detail, and then remove the detail from the facial features tab. So it would look like we have more hairstyles but its the same hairstyle with a variant.

I think this makes sense. But we are just speculating.
Also heard word that some features on the faces are being adjusted, things like the Face 4 Ronso Horn being Usable on all the faces.
But, gotta wait till March 4th, with great hope we will see and hear good things!

I am just curious if the 6 hairstyles viera got are the only ones they will get until 7.0. So throthgar will also only recieve 6 "new" hairtstyles and that is all for 2 years. I hope not.

They adjusted the player models. Seems like a lot of work to just give us 6 hairstyles. Maybe we'll get nothing in 6.1 cause they want to let Hrothgar feel like they're catching up but we should be getting more but obviously the question is when. Another tell tale sign as to whether or not we will be treated more fairly in the hairstyle department is whether or not any new styles released include us cause that sure hasn't been the case.

I do understand your pessimism however given we've been disappointed many times before.

Two years would be horrific, but I can't say I would be surprised. Imagine the initial EW styles being all we get for four and a half years.
