The only thing tacky here is using that comparison in a thread about a video game story, sheesh.

Point being, you're basically saying because the Ancients reacted realistically to a traumatic situation they deserved to be traumatized further by being ripped into fourteen pieces and murdered slowly by mortality. Nah fam. That ain't it. Nor do we deserve to die in order to have all of our soul fragments shoved back together. Both the Ascians and Venat are wrong, both are guilty. Sooner both sides can admit that, sooner the debates stop. Not all of the Ancients became Ascians, and the innocent bystanders did not deserve nor should they have been Sundered.
