I play games that strain my PC far harder than FFXIV I'll let you know. So if something were wrong with the load... I think I'd experience this across other games, especially those that are almost unplayable.I'm not talking about beta drivers. I'm talking about normal graphic driver releases that have been proven to be riddled with issues in the past and the only fix is to downgrade.
And yeah, the game engine is flawed in some ways due to using 1.0 spaghetti codes still but BSODs and having to reinstall graphics drivers are 100% hardware issues and not due to FF14 or its game engine.
Again, it doesn't matter what other games you play and are fine with cause games put different loads on the hardware depending on the game.
So that means FF14 is putting a heavier load on your faulty hardware so you're getting issues cause your faulty hardware can't handle the load FF14 is putting on it. That's not on the game but on you for having faulty hardware in your PC.
And if it only happens during cutscenes for you along with being random about it, that is even further proof you've got faulty hardware.
Also, for the record, that last statement of yours is entirely false and I really wish people would stop spreading that false information. Software cannot cause BSODs or other issues by themselves with how modern computers are made these days.
If you truly believe that, I pity you for having your head stuck in the sand like that.
Faulty hardware. Your line of thinking is faulty

Except, like I said, these others games likely aren't putting a heavy load on the hardware in your PC that is faulty. Doesn't matter how much they strain your PC, if they aren't putting a heavy load on the faulty piece of hardware or combo of hardware, you won't see any issues happening in these other games. And again, the fact your crashes/BSODs with FF14 force you to reinstall your video drivers sometimes is 100% a sign of hardware issues. There is literally no other reason for that to be happening other than hardware issues.
But hey, if you wanna keep trying to put the blame entirely on FF14 for your issues and refuse to admit that your hardware is faulty in some way or another then more power to you but don't expect any help for your issue because it's not FF14's fault.
I used to run a GTX 275 overclocked that was fine in Crysis 2 but caused Green pixels in Oblivion
The intensity of load on a device is not a valid measure of stability on a silicon processor where high throughput processing that employs a constant power flow(sealing current) can seal up leaks(electromigration).
