I'm perfectly fine with more masculine glamour options in game. Just, y'know, let me wear them as a lady. It makes me sad that I like the current level 90 crafter gear more than I do a lot of the combat gear, and I would for serious pay actual cash for a women's version of the Valentione's vest from a couple years ago.

Also, y'know... pants. It's bad enough when a neat-looking jacket (hi, looking at you, YoRHa Type-51 gear) turns into a dress on my Highlander lady, but having a pair of pants randomly turn into underwear? Well, my opinions on that are probably not a mystery to anyone who's ever seen me post in one of these threads. Or, y'know, on this forum at all. *gestures emphatically towards her signature*

I don't want my male characters to be more muscular than they currently are. I think defined muscles look ugly. My characters look fine right now (and I enjoy making glamours for my male characters as much as female).

Am I the odd one out? Maybe. But at least the character designers seem to be on my wavelength.
I'm gonna just put this old Shortpacked! comic here, because while it's not 100% accurate -- some women do find big muscled guys very attractive, because tastes do vary -- it remains relevant nonetheless:

I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.

Relevant inasmuch as folks were seemingly arguing in absolutes about how it would be awful to see guys dressed in "less masculine" things (or whether women should be dressed in "more feminine" things). Even just treating it aesthetically, not everyone will find a muscled uber-macho guy appealing (witness the sketch in the comic, of what she'd find attractive in Batman). Nor will everyone find a softer, less Rambo guy appealing. If that didn't come across clearly in referencing the comic (and my stated caveat), then I apologize for the misfire.

For me, personally, I don't care to dress my character—either of them—in overly-feminine things. Much like me-the-player, the in-game aesthetic I go for is generally tomboyish (with a few exceptions). When I saw the icons for the YoRHa Type-51 chest gear—all those lovely 9S-inspired coats and vests and stuff—I was thrilled. And then I tried one on and... somehow, magically, it was a dress instead. That gave me Great Sadness, because that's not the aesthetic I want for my character. Give me the level 90 GNB artifact gear over the level 90 WHM artifact gear any day.

But others love to dress their characters in the most frilly, flowery things they can. (And then, frequently, carry a giant DRK sword.) And that's fine too.

In short: Options are great. Can we please have more?
