So you feel like the DRK community?

You're the noisy minority nothing more, considering the number of people complaining it must not even be 5% of FFXIV players in the world.
Those who are happy with it, well, they're having fun without having to tell the world.

Guess you haven't been paying attention to the inside nor outside of the forums. Maybe even the game itself.

Whether the majority like/dislike DRK is a different discussion entirely, but looking at other discussions suggests there's a lot of other people who also acknowledge the lack of identity. There's many people who don't like DRK but love the class fantasy, me included. They just don't speak out. I think it's more of the DRK playerbase is split between people who like it and people who don't like it, which isn't a good thing in itself.

They've had 6 years. Reaper is their answer to a Dark Knight rework.

Thing is, DRK is a tank. I don't think they'd respond by releasing a DPS with no similar mechanics aside from Death's Design being Sole Survivor. Only similar thing is aesthetic.

I genuinely do think that DRK will get a good rework one day though. Whether that be 6.x or 9.x depends on them, but I think it's inevitable after seeing how SMN was reworked to accurately reflect the previous iterations, despite being one the best casters in 5.0.
