Just check FF7 remake - that game has the exact same issue and been out for months. Good luck trying to get it fixed. Better upgrade your hardware than to waste hours upon hours of worthless begging for devs to react.

I'd suggest you go be a killjoy somewhere else. FF7:Re and FF14 are made by completely different divisions in the company choking on the same Business Deal. I can fully assume it will be fixed, we just don't know when but at least people have the damn heart to try what they can to potentially expedite the process.

So I had a fluke incident where I was doing Trial Roulette, got the 6th Encounter in Stormblood(Kitty), and was still of course stuck with the sound issue. I guess in a fit of annoyance I shook my camera violently and it temporarily fixed my audio??? This isn't a blanket fix, even after no audio disruptions going into Normal Raid Roulette the sound issue came back like it never left when I entered Leveling. No matter how much I flailed the camera around in that dungeon, it may have only gotten a brief second of relief. I'm not sure if single encounters can be "fixed" with this ridiculous method across the board(Really doubt it), but its worth a desperate fleeting grasp if it can be replicated consistently.

This isn't a joke either, I don't feel like messing with people for no good reason but it happened for me and it could happen for you.

Upgrading your hardware is not a guaranteed fix - many of the people in this thread have newer machines. Don't waste your money.

We're less than seven hours from the patch going live and I somehow still have hope. If it doesn't get fixed, I'll be more than happy to fill out Elliah's survey and provide any other information that might help. I agree that sending personal letters to devs is probably excessive and not likely to have much of an impact (no matter how cathartic it may seem), though I'll be thrilled if we can make some noise on social media and the Japanese forums.
