According to FFLogs, the vast majority of uploaded logs for the extreme trials contain WHM, it being the second most popular job after Reaper. Just because it hasn’t been your experience doesn’t mean it hasn’t been the experience.



Anyhow back to White Mage-
Your suggestion for Thin Air, it giving multiple free spells, is probably all that’s required to bring WHM’s mana economy back in line. It’s a change I’ve been hoping for too. Though I imagine the current intention was to prevent people from getting multiple free raises under thin air, so it could be altered to only refund a specific portion of mana (or have Raise consume all stacks) rather than flat free costs.

My thoughts are that Misery should cost 2 blood Lily stacks instead of 3 (though you can still bank 3).
This would keep Misery at a damage loss (albeit only 30p over 3 GCDs) in a vacuum, but placing Misery inside most raid buffs would net an overall damage gain. It would also be a minor buff to WHM’s mana economy, as it means more Misery casts overall.
The cleave damage would need to be adjusted to suit, but that’s a minor issue overall.

As for Liturgy of the Bell, I think it would be worth taking notes from Sage’s Panhaima.
Have it apply 5 stacks of the healing effect to each member individually, which are consumed for healing when struck.

Look at all the party finder groups and notice sage and scholar or at a smaller scale it's astrologisn. Just because you look at a website does not make it the experience.

I have to disagree with this. FFLogs has long since been the metric for determining usage statistics and damage output. Anyone who is even remotely invested in ex primals, savage floors, ultimates (any relevant content outside of dungeons) is using FFLogs. You saying it "does not mean a thing" just speaks to your inexperience unfortunately.

My response was more or less aligned with the context in how that other posted worded the reply to appear condescending and personal. This means nothing when the extreme fight is already being handled with no healers as it is. White mages have issues being the weakest of the healers. I could say Savage mode will change this but that has no bearing when extremes are the high end of right now. *chuckle* I keep it neutral and someone brings in data from an illegal source but who am I to discredit information from this website. It's very simple to take a snippet of a screenshot from any data and tweak it to make it look good to whatever position you wish to take. That seems to show that white mages are kinda not well represented in the actual rankings but data from thousands of samples are not necessarily valid points. The real data will come when we look at the world first and min-max teams to see what they take. Not a broad swath of data from sources that cannot be confirmed. Until then I will go on the experience of what I see. The same that anyone really cares most about which makes this once more opinionated over anything of fact. Maybe if you stop taking snippets of data to give your thought credit we can have an opinionated conversation because that is what it is. An opinion

So, the website with hundreds of thousands of statistical samples and solid numbers is wrong because you took a glance at PF ingame and from the tens of samples you saw, felt differently?
