I just explained why his opinion isn’t valid, niche raid util doesn’t explain the huge gap between war and paladin DPS in addition WAR self sustain is higher than PLD. I have been playing since ARR and I remember WAR has always been MT and got it good since then while we have to beg for every single thing we got now. Make a Full party with 2 paladins and everyone will be able to clear Zodi and Hyde today.
Unless every tank has the EXACTLY same damage output this whole debate will still be happening and no one will be happy.

Still waiting for the day when the the whole fault of the wipe on a dps check will be the tank that doesnt do dmg, even doing his rotation as optimal as it can be, using all BiS the game has to offer.

I think was on 5.1, or 5.2 . That WAR Holmgang didnt last enough to survive the Eden Titan tankbuster. It was like 6 seconds or 4? Some number around that.

I play the game for Savage/Ultimate raids, but I won't have fun if I outclass my team mates, I will always want to be with people on the same skill levels or higher.

You do understand in term is self sustain WAR is above PLD and they are close to DRK DPS. I just want us to be close to warrior in term of DPS I don’t mind being the fourth tanks dps , I just want not the gapping hole we see right now between WAR and PLD. Yes we bring some niche raid untility but the dps trade off is insane ,Certainly I don’t want us to be top tank DPS just make us decent.

I don’t want to have same dps as DRK , the issue here is WAR , PLD issues,We are just asking for a little dps buff so we can be same levels as warriors, DRK and GNB are dps tanks, WAR and PLD are sustain tanks our DPS should be close to them , I don’t expect WAR and PLD to the same damage as DRK.

I don’t want damage over utility I want us to be as viable as Warriors in terms of DPS, we are both sustain tanks and again for 1000th time, niche raid utility doesn’t justify the Hugh gap between WAR and PLD dps, DRK and GNB can have their top DPS spots. If I want to dps I play a dps class.
