Limiting the number of those that can pre-order is utterly meaningless given that the servers themselves aren't just exclusively accessible to those that have pre-ordered, but rather everyone regardless of what expansion they own, or do not.

Either way, businesses are never going to limit sales and profit unless absolutely required by catastrophe. Sad reality.

You can say it's an opinion, but I am willing to bet most would rather have the game be sold out/buying the ps5 outright, as opposed to waiting in any lines.
