    This is what I think they should've done with positionals in general. I was never a fan of being punished for not landing my positional because of mechanics getting in the way, or a bad tank, but this change would be rewarding without being punishing if you failed.

    Nailed it. I liked MNK being its own weird, difficult thing. It suits it, being the job built around basically just using your hands and feet to kick butt.

    Also agree with what has been said about positionals being kind of the point of the job. I think removing them was a terrible idea and has killed most of the job's identity, and what I enjoyed about it.

    That’s the reason why you have abilities like true north and RoE. Part of the fun of playing monk is managing your positional negation abilities. In my opinion it is what makes the job fun outside of its otherwise simple rotation. It demands more understanding on boss mechanics to allow you to use these abilities at the right time but you will master it with practice. Personally I never have any issue hitting positionals in savage raids and I doubt anyone who is willing to put the time on practicing will have. Maintaining 100% uptime on positionals is the art of monk.
