Grace period isn't 1 minute, I dc'd mid 2nd trial extreme with static and immediately join queue at 6.8k so yeah there is no grace period just got to suck it up and wait.Just to point out, I believe that code already exists. The grace period is one minute. What many people are suggesting, is that the grace period be extended to at least something more reasonable temporarily during this high traffic release period, something of at least 5 minutes.
A longer grace period by even that little bit, wouldn't be too damaging to the existing queue, and would at least allow SOME breathing room if someone attempts to log back in and gets hit by the wall of 2002's and 3001's that seem to be quite common right now. As it stands, if someone tries reconnecting and experiences that singular 2002 on first attempt, it most likely is going to go over that 1 minute grace period and you loose your spot in either the server (If d/c'ed while in game) or the existing queue (If d/c'ed while in queue).
There is one, it's just not working 100% because the log-in servers are constantly having a fit. I've been D/C'ed in queue and in-game a few times and managed to catch that grace period by luck. It DOES exist, it's just not working as intended at the moment.
Everytime I've DC'd even before EW there's always been a queue for me to get back in. Never has it been where I don't wait in a queue and hop back in, I'm always in a queue regardless.
"I was out of the frying pan and into the freezer, I thought I was going to die here."
What is really happening is that the game kicks you out at the login menu, you enter right away and the game LITERALLY tells you that you can't enter because YOU ARE ALREADY logged (?!? prob because your character did dont disconnect correctly); after a few seconds it logs your character off and THEN it puts you at the END of the queue. >_>
If only when this happen:
-you try to login but you are ALREADY LOGGED and NOT PROPERLY LOGGED OF
the game could recognize what happened and put you on number ONE in the queue it would be at least SOMETHING.
