Partially right, and maybe for 'some' people entirely correct. There is another way of doing this math.
Pay for 7 days, unable to log in for seven days. 7 days granted as "compensation" for the down time.

Pay for 7, get 7, take 14 days to actually get them. That's if a week sorts all this out.

Your still proving my Point that is is indeed Free Time.
Even if you pay for those 7 days, and say you Cant/Don't use those 7 days, your are still being given 7 days.
Regardless if its Compensation or a Reimbursement...its still a free 7 days.
Nobody is paying any amount of money for those 7 days.

Its weird...Im trying to understand why when I get the Error code and get kicked out of Queue, why do I get put back in the exact same place I was.
But I keep hearing everyone else has to start over.

I get in 6000 player queue on Primal where my main is.

I get kicked sometime around the 3k spot after waiting for 2 hours.

I try to immediately log back by clicking on the launcher and typing in my password (instead of using a 3rd party program like some people do)

Client boots up, I immediately get another 2002 error and get kicked out again.

I go through the process of starting launcher and typing my password again. 2002 error again.

Repeat until I eventually manage to get back in only to find out I lost my spot and back at the 6k end of the queue.

Now is absolutely nothing at all like the 1.0 situation. The only problem right now is a demand far exceeding the server capacity. 1.0 had myriad problems, but I don't recall demand far exceeding server capacity being one of them.

What in the world is with people suddenly acting like 1.0 was perfectly smooth at launch? It was a disaster. It didn't even HAVE a functioning queue system as I remember, and you spent all this same amount of time spamming buttons, hoping that the errors just crashed the client instead of your whole PC. Even if you were lucky enough to get in, it was a slideshow unplayable lagfest. Be mad at this all you want, but do not try to rewrite 1.0 history lol

I do understand why people are pissed, I'm one of them. The difference is there were things SE had no control over that's adding to this issue. Yes SE does need to fix the way the 2002's are, but we would've had it or something else anyway because Things like the chip shortage and lets not forget... Blizzard lost ALOT of players this year that all came here. SE didn't have data on that because that was random and out of their control. That is a factor here and you can't just push it away. That's why people are saying what they are saying. SE didn't have MONTHS for this. If the 2 things I mentioned never happened we wouldn't be here... and those two things could not have been planned for.

So what did you explain to me other then what Im already experiencing as well?...I also get multiple 2002 errors and I have to restart my launcher and relog each time.
Difference is, Im not starting back at 6k, I resume exactly where I left.

You probably are able to reconnect to server on your first try thus you are able to reclaim your spot on queue since you are within the 30 sec - 1 min grace period.

Other people are not so lucky since they get multiple 2002 errors when trying to reconnect and when they finally do the grace period has expired.

Also no need to be rude. Just because you are within the minority that has not experienced issues with EA doesn't mean they don't exist or that the millions of people affected by it are doing something wrong.

It was a very long time ago. Maybe it was just as bad queue-wise. Regardless, this is still nothing like that in the sense that the ONLY problem is getting into the game. Once you're in, it's perfectly stable, and it's a great game.
