I was able to sneak a peek at the documents regarding the upcoming job system announcement coming next week and I smuggled out a lil' morsel that you might be interested in. I figure, if you all knew what classes were required for each job, you could set a goal to raise them up over the weekend (if you're like Camate who was all "omg Bayohne, help me level up my lancer tomorrow!"...).

Have to admit though, some of those reqs don't make sense to me. Oh well, I have all the reqs already anyway.

The secondary class requirements seem to be based on two things: the job for which it is the primary class required, and the main attributes that class uses for effectiveness. For instance, Conjurer is the main class for white mage, and their type of magic ties in with the magic a Paladin has historically used in FF.

For black mage, pugilist may be a secondary because it uses some of the same stats for its combat effectiveness.

I expected something like this for the mages requirement:

White Mage Conjurer lvl 30+, Thaumaturge lvl 15+
Black Mage Thaumaturge lvl 30+, Conjurer lvl 15+

Why should a BLM need to be a pugilist??? Those requirements seems totally random.
