    Final Fantasy XIV is doing a lot right now. Between preparing to launch a new expansion, Endwalker, soon, dealing with server issues, and now, there are details on the coming end of HQ items and changes to gathering on the way.

    You are mistaken. Gathering high-quality ingredients and materials is being removed. You will not be able to gather high quality items for crafting. Perception will not have a chance of increasing gathering yield.

    You will still be able to craft high quality items.

    According to the panel, HQ gathering is being removed, and HQ crafting will stay with adjustments made to difficulty.

    Having a way to add/modify effects on your weapon would be cool, it would really enhance the glam life. Better if we could use in on all weapons tho, not just crafted. It would also add some incentive to people to play crafters more.
