You can buy level appropriate gear from vendors for a very reasonable amount of gil. There is simply no excuse for a tank to show up in a lvl 69 dungeon wearing lvl 60 gear (with stats that arent't even appropriate for tanking to boot). That's not teamwork on the tank's part, it's laziness.

Plus, having gear so terrible your healer can do nothing but heal spam you through single pulls just to keep the party going slows things down considerably. The healer can't contribute much dps and the tank isn't doing anywhere near the damage they should either.

It's just inconsiderate behavior to expect others to pick up your slack like that. Even more so if you, like OP, are going to berate the group as you do so. It's one thing to be ignorant and another to be willfully entitled.
