I'm not sure why some people make so many assumptions about the posters in this thread. Paying customers are absolutely allowed to express their frustration if a promised service is not delivered in a timely manner.

The expansion being delayed by two weeks isn't the end of the world but it is not the first time that content has been pushed back and some people used precious free time off of work to align with the original release date that can now not be changed.

People order food from restaurants and supermarkets all the time and plan around the expectation that the service will be conducted as planned. It isn't unreasonable to adopt that mentality with other transactions.

Personally I think some free game time or a special item sent through the in-game mail would have been a nice way to truly solidify an apology. That was the approach taken back in ARR when things went awry, so it's interesting that such methods are no longer embraced in the present day.

Perhaps it is something that Yoshi-P and his team can consider moving forward, given that him shedding tears during a Live Letter leads some zealous players to begin attacking anyone who dares offer any criticism, no matter how politely it is worded.
