Then you need to switch the tone of your comment earlier, I'm saying some people on here seem like they are throwing their frustrations onto them with things like "I used my vacation time for this" and other situations.

Ok so what does help them? Because I figure stating something like..it is ok to feel upset and that is normal. Is much better than what you are doing. Telling them that it is just a hobby, or making a thread defending someone that does not really need it, and we had another thread about this also.


All I am saying is, the best way to help the people who are stressed is to be understanding about it. Not devaluing their time by telling them that they can do something else, or it is not worth getting that upset about. The cult of Yoshi P comes out of the woods and bash these people on reddit for being upset about it, and that looks far worse than the people irked for legit reasons.

I try not to use tone because it is hard to get a full grasp through text, but if you want to use tone fine... Your replies come off very patronizing.

If your life revolves around one thing that isn't healthy.

This isn't devaluing his game and the time he put into it, you're throwing that in there and that goes for the players too onto the player-side of things. I'm saying people who revolve their life around it and acting out is bad.

I'm trying to figure out where you get this leap in logic from. If someone is pretty upset a hobby they have passion for got delayed is now life revolves around it? Gaming is a great stress relief and matters to many people. Just like sports, fishing, or any other hobby. So I'm not sure having passion for something means life revolves around it.

Was I frustrated and many others on here about the delay? YES! As much I want to play Endwalker now I know it can't be changed. I paid back at the end of september for the 60 days, and now knowing I might not have the income available to play it in December soon but things happen and I have accepted that fact.

Other players going beyond frustration? How are these players helping the situation? Not much, and its making the english forums look bad.

They are not, and we have a right to call them out on it when they take it too far, but what is too far?

To me talking about it on Twitter, Reddit, or the forums is not taking it too far. It is a way to let out stress, and talk with other people about it.


I cross the line when people attack developers. No amount of passion or stress gives anyone a right to attack people who are working. They are a business, do you think they want to delay? It makes no sense that they would unless they cared about what they want to give. (or in some developments at least a working game.) However, we can clearly see the developers care a lot about the game. So being upset is ok, attacking people no matter what side you are on this..is not.
