The "bad" example is literally taken from an interaction I witnessed in the game. There's a difference between explaining and ridiculing, but some players can't or won't understand the distinction.
I have literally been told I should commit suicide if I don't know mechanics (it was my first time in the latest NieR raid and no, I didn't watch a video, which I guess is taboo). So I get where SE is coming from. It's this type of behavior they are trying to suppress, but at the same time, enforcing a rule to make people think about how they word things and the tone they use. It's not a bad idea and if it keeps comments like the one I received from happening again, then I'm all for it.
