Someone doesn't understand how a MMO works

I do I just don't get why people in ff14 do so much of what they hate in place of not and let the devs know it. That was the story of eureka in the day. Big part hated it but did it any way as they want what it give. In ace of just not doing it and the the devs stop it.

Pretty sure we had some snippets about modders and client side mods.

With how they did SCH dirty, I expect healer dps talk within the first three weeks after EW release and the obligatory "Why so many people suck" threads outside the Tales of DF section because new gameplay, new content.

That is what I like to do.problem most of the time before I can say hi the healer already pulled the first mobs. People just in general don't care for others what so ever .

I have at times had players ask if we could go fast or slow, but never anything that turned into anything even remotely uncomfortable and impolite.

Discussions like this CAN be useful and productive, making a million threads about it is kind of pointless. I really wish the mods would delete pointless threads and consider merging discussions of the same topic.

Japan.

But by extension the server I am on is the unofficial Oceania server, so lots of Aussies/Pacific island/Asian (like India). So my experience isn’t a “oh well your on Japan and the Japanese are blah blah” unless that extends to essentially the entire hemisphere.

so much people just want to speed run / rush any content and never even care to see of the rest of the party is up to it. as a tank its extremely frustrating as people liek this never want to communicate and force the way they want to play on you.

Not communicating, I can understand the frustration. Everyone should communicate, at some basic level, whether they're going speed of light wall-to-wall, or they're going to take five minutes between pulls.

However, going fast is as valid a choice as going slow. Respect for playstyles goes both ways, and the best players are flexible and can adjust to a slow run, or a fast run, or virtually anything in-between. It's only the less-skilled players (understandably) or obstinate players (unnecessary) that can only play one way - be that fast, or slow.

So, in closing, it's kinda ironic to complain about someone else's playstyle, and include in that complaint the fact that people should respect others' playstyles. Your playstyle isn't the "correct" one, nor is it even decidedly preferable to all in the group. It's yours and yours alone.

You can dislike it, fine - but, adapt and deal. In complaining you're only pushing the idea that others should conform to your playstyle. Try this somewhere that it matters, like on the freeway, and you'll get yourself badly injured or killed. There are situations where you must adapt to have the best experience.

I came here with an open mind thinking OP was gonna talk about the people rushing MSQ to get to raids or something but it's just a thread about dungeon pulls.
