I'd highly recommend to play a good solo rpg at this point if you going to use trusts and what ever legal bots there is. at what point people forget this is an mmo? that the characters you see are real people and not NPC/Hi Xaruko,
I'd highly recommend using TRUSTS/Squadrons to go through the 4-man dungeon content. You clearly have a different playstyle to the majority of people who play the game and find it stressful to play in an environment where people want to enjoy dungeons by killing larger packs of mobs. I've had a good chunk of friends come play this game and they are pulling mobs left right and center and sprinting through dungeons just fine - being a new player doesn't negate a wish to want to murder big packs of mobs. A lot of people just enjoy dungeons this way. And, tbh, some of the fun we've had has been wiping to these huge pulls and making fun of each other about it.
FFXIV is an MMO where you repeat content consistently. I cannot speak for other MMOs and how you enjoy those but this is how FFXIV works. If it's not for you, that's fine.
However, from experience playing other MMOs, running through dungeons efficiently or quick is a common and popular way of "enjoying" that type of content and I'm not sure you're going to find many people in a party-matching system that was to run content slowly for no other reason than "going slow". I'd recommend finding like-minded individuals to slowly go through content if you find rushing through dungeons not for you.
Apparently not popping sprint on cd turns other players into geriatrics with a walker on someone else’s screen. It doesn’t happen on mine, does that feature unlock later? And every dungeon run takes 45 min at least, if not an hour! Two! SE must be meddling with my clocks because it sure looked like 15 min on mine.
It did take me a while to figure this out but during cut scenes, you can hit enter and type a msg in chat usually I write something like "Hi all! I'm new in this dungeon." and the rest of the team so far have helped me and been patient.
I have only played on one server (Balmung) so I don't know how the mentality is on the rest of the servers out there. But anyways there is my advice to you.
You can queue for dungeons while doing other things or being AFK, and doing 1 pack at a time doesn't add 1 minute to a run, it nearly doubles the length of a run.
At the start it’s never a prob, people are chill and courteous usuallyIt did take me a while to figure this out but during cut scenes, you can hit enter and type a msg in chat usually I write something like "Hi all! I'm new in this dungeon." and the rest of the team so far have helped me and been patient.

I've actually tested this (and heal-only healer tests too) and the single pack pulls add, on average, 15 minutes to a run.
Heal only healers add 6-10 minutes to a run as well.
i am a main tank an das long as people are nice i do wall to wall, but if some one is new OR IM AM THE NEW ONE we most likely do small pulls to not fuck no on. no if you don't want to fall to a small pull do a full party and go as it. or at last talk to the party and see what most want to do. don't force people in to what ever fucked up thing you are in to.
Why is it a problem?
Incorrect. Many players like to do dungeons and they like them more when they are fast, flawless and effiecient. Seeing everything melt like butter on a pan feels great.
Please don't try to mask inefficient play styles behind the category of "new players". I've seen some really skilled new players who can carry their own weight, and some really bad players at cap. Choosing to play in a way that is slow or otherwise inferior doesn't warrant extra tomes. You already get what you wanted: a slow run. That's the reward.
There is always something to do in this game. When I go fast in dungeons, I'm not forced to be bored until the next one. Instead, I can go farm this and that and end up with dozens of mounts and minions and titles and glamours that other people, who are wasting time in their slow runs, don't have.
It's not the responsibility of dps and healers to compensate for a slow tank, or vice versa. "Other people will still play at 99% efficiency so it's ok for me to make the dungeon 5 minutes longer with my play style and hold them back" is not a great attitude to have. If everyone does that it's 20 minutes longer.
Those players have infested every role so it's not even a matter of queuing as a tank to get fast dungeons. Then you get healers with every level 80 healing job who don't touch their damage skills, or dps who don't know their rotation. One could always make a premade for roulettes, but my question is, is it too much to ask from the DF that players at least perform better than trust NPCs? I think it's sad that it's not guaranteed.
