and maybe some of you are fine with that. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but it is my opinion and my feedback even though there is an infinitesimally small chance it will affect anything or anyone, besides getting my flamed.

"Gogogo" really sucks, especially for new players. Im to the point now of getting dungeons that I don't recognize or remember, that I have evidently already done. I struggle to keep up, I use sprint on cooldown just to keep up, healers pulling, DPS pulling, never time to watch cut scenes or even look at loot. I hate it. I hate the go go go mentality of this and other MMO's. It is destroying my love for a beautiful game that I have otherwise fallen in love with.

Im sorry some of you have been doing these dungeons for years and could do them with your eyes closed and get physically ill at the sight of them. But there is an unprecedented number of new players to the game right now and you should be a little more patient. It is not fun, very frustrating and again, I know I may be in the minority, but I can't be the only one.

Im not sure what the solution is or who to blame but I wanted to give my feedback.

One of the problems with going slow is that fighting 3 enemies is boring for everyone. It's boring for the DPS, who don't get to destroy an army of enemies and will probably end up doing single target. It's boring for the tanks, who don't have to mitigate or even try. It's boring for the healers, who don't have to heal hardly at all. Once you've gone fast it's hard to go back.

If you want to appreciate the area on your own it's easy to do that at a higher level using the Undersized Party option. If you do enough roulettes some parties will go slow sometimes.

That is the reason why it is a bad idea when tanks can create AoE threat so easily, IMHO. That thing is really good in WoW classic that you have to fight to get threat from every single mob. It prevents the "gogogo"-mentality very effectively because "gogogo" is not possible without dead DPS players.

I'm not sure if it's just me having good luck, but I have never seen anything like that. But I did recently learn that you can hit enter during cut scenes and write a msg I usually write "Hi all! First time for me here," and so far, people have been really understanding and even told me about the bosses when we get to them like yesterday we wiped like eight times on a boss in one of the last Shadow bringer dungeons and I was surprised we did not lose anyone to rage quit hell even I was close to just rage quit at that point, and I'm considering my self REALLY patient, but my more experienced friends in that dungeon really explained the mechanics to me and pushed me forward, and at midnight my time we finally kick that SOB's ass!

You can always use the PF to find like-minded people!

Once you get to stormblood/shadowbringers dungeons there's even an 'Explorer Mode' you can use to roam around in these dungeons!

Which is pretty cool :3

Sadly, said mode isn't a thing for anything before SB but still, it's a start!

Also, did you try telling people you're new and would like to take it slow?

Most people will prolly adhere to that! I mean, most dungeons are built in a way that you can't rush through it 100% anyway.

I recommend pulling as much as possible and use the time it takes to kill the adds to roam around your camera

I fully understand. I’ve been lucky in that I play with my partner, he as tank and I as healer, and we’ve bumped only a few times into impatient people. I assume having us both in a cutscene tends to slow others down hehe. And for the MSQ we duo dungeons regularly if we think we can, so that we can take our time exploring. We only run dungeons once for the storyline and steer clear from roulettes and what not. I don’t know your level but maybe Trusts will be a solution? Or a fun FC with likeminded people? I know it sucks big time if the solution is ‘Avoid random people!’ and as feedback yours is valuable. But it’d be sad if you quit over it while thoroughly enjoying the game, and for me avoiding other players usually fixes frustrations like these

Let your party know that this is your first time, most people understand and don't mind slowing down and wait for you while watching cutscenes

I would say apart from WoW this is new to me. WoW is literally the only game I've seen this mentality in
