8 comments on the first page specifically covering short to non existent healer queue times. 1 comment complaining about long (11 minutes) right after a patch but clicking through that one also mentions that they were short beforehand.

The active healer player base has never been thinner than it is. I idle as a healer as that’s my main. But I’ll be damned if I’m running casual content on it because it’s deathly boring.
one thread and 8 comments surely make your argument convincing

let's talk about queue times while we're at it.

With the coming of the new healers, i think there will be a surge of healers that may lead to long queue time for healers.

Does that mean healer issues finally get addressed?

    Really?

    (1) Dosis III - ST filler
    (2) Eucrasia + Dosis III - DoT
    (3) Toxicon II - Afflatus Misery (likely tied to spending the blue thingies given their similar names)
    (4) Phlegma III - Another charge spell with higher potency then (3) -
    (5) Pneuma - 2 min CD laser someone reused the tooltip of (3) on, and added an AoE-HoT and damage reduction effect.
    (6) Dyscrasia 2 - spammable melee range AoE

So you have standard filler. Standard DoT that requires two button presses to apply. Why (3) and (4) exist on separate buttons is beyond me - there is practically no decisionmaking here on either of these spells.
Given it's CD and effects, (5) will most likely be used for it's healing/damage reduction first. The AoE rotation you mention i fail to see (no, long cooldown charged spells like afflatus are no rotation)

You're 100% right. Introducing a new job and leave the three others to rot in the garbage bin == addressing the issue with healers.

Plus you're missing my point anyway. We'll never have a DPS rotation as complex as DPS themselves. Why ? Because we're not DPS.
As healers, we don't have a proper DPS kit, but all we do is DPS.
As DPS, we have a proper DPS kit, and all we do is DPS.

I think it's pretty simple to understand where the frustration comes from

This is sophism and you know it.
Of course in the end we all press the same buttons in the game, because we don't get new skills appearing magically in our hotbar every second ...
But the fact that a DPS' rotation consists of at the very least a dozen of buttons, whereas a healer's consists of only two, should still be a good indicator that there's a problem.

Honestly i don't understand how you justify some classes having frequent use of more than 60% of their kit, while others use less than 20%.

As usual Sebazy is practically the only thing worth reading. Aword on the other hand...bwahaha.

Healers are so far from fine, or 'popular' its unreal at this point. They were more engaging to play in the days of Aion and nigh a decade before in Korea. Heaven knows what sort of limited intelligence finds what they are now in any way acceptable.

Well, this all just basically confirmed my suspicions. SE is lazy af when it comes to designing and balancing the healers. The fact they literally said they didn’t know what more they could do with scholar….sad and pathetic. But sure give Smn it’s new rework(again) and spend more time talking about your teleportation fees, but don’t actually address the issues with the healers. For some of you saying wait for the encounter design, keep in mind they had said back before ShB in the LL and told us of how the new raid design would promote much more healing…yet there was no change from past expansions.

The trailer seems to imply you get your Purple Sage Aetherflow when the target of either your single target shield or your designated heal "partner" gets struck by an enemy. Toxicon costs 1 of the Sage Aetherflow points. Currently the only skill we know that costs one of those points.

I really love the statement "main hand ilvl surveys shows healers are popular!!!11!!1"

and not realizing how piss easy it is for people to get a relic especially during extreme content drought and people can be sitting on a max ilvl relic

like come on, thats a bad metric and you know it.

Yes, it's indeed flawed but it's the closest thing we can get.

Also why healers only sits on top when the highest MH IL are so easy to get as you said ?

Why healers increase their MH IL faster than any other jobs even before Resistance Weapon got released?

I'm actually very happy with my SCH, thanks. I have been throughout this expansion. It's fun to play; if I fancy switching things up, I play WHM for a while instead. My friends mostly have healers levelled, and they're happy with today's announcements too. The Echo-chamber of the forum doesn't seem to represent the way most players feel; of the 40 plus folk in my FC, I'm the only one who ever looks at the forums.

I'm sorry you don't enjoy the job in its current iteration, but plenty of people do.
